Frequently Asked Questions for bridesmaid dress alterations chicago done right 😍 #alterations #chicago #chicagoalterations #chicagoseamstress #desplaines JMFW 2024

What should I consider when buying a skirt with mesh panels?

Consider whether bag hardware might catch against an open surface. Ask how the garment should be protected during permitted cleaning.

What should I check when choosing a skirt with decorative bows?

Check where the decoration rests when you sit down. Avoid tightening a decorative attachment to correct the waist fit.

What should I look for in a skirt waistband for comfortable wear?

A skirt that continually slides down may need a different size or cut rather than simply a tighter belt. If you plan to wear base layers, consider their thickness when evaluating the available room at the waist.
